Instructions for Rag Quilt.
This Quilt was done a bit different
This quilt was done Quilt as you go method.
it can be done like a rag quilt.
Both look great

Here is how I did this quilt.
Lace can be bought or made. your choice
not included in the set

Buy your lace first.
it will determine how much you trim on the quilt Blocks,
I made lace 2 inches wide for the center insertions.

So I trimmed my blocks 7/8 inch along the last sewing line of the block.
I wanted the lace to over lap the sewing line
Squaring up all the blocks to match

Zigzag your blocks to gether, through all 3 layers,
I used a loose 5mm wide zigzag,
Use what suites you
do rows across first

On the back using bias tape or ribbon, satin or ribbed.
sew on the back of the blocks covering the zigzag
I made bias from the same backing fabric

Now sew your lace on to the front of the block rows

Once all rows are completed,
then repeat the steps for putting the rows together
I then bound the quilt
and added matching lace to the outside of the quilt
