Design's are Free Standing Lace when done as directed I used 2 layers of Vilene, number 12 schmetz universal needle, 40 weight Madeira Rayon thread on top and a fine bobbin thread. I rinsed the vilene out holding each ornament under warm water a few seconds only, Not tested with any other stabilizer |

Pin the snowflake right side down to styrofoam, be gentle. and pin your covers to Styrofoam balls I used the 3 inch size as that is the size my glass bulbs are |

to assemble the 3 D sew 2 parts together loosely with a zigzag. 6 parts needed for one 3D snowflake, so you will have 3 parts to glue together I ran a bead of Aleen's Glue down the center of the sewn together pieces (any fabric Glue WIll do) let sit till tacky, at 60 degree angles glue the 3 sections together. you can also forget the sewing and just glue the parts together at 60 degree angle. both ways work fine |
